ACM 401

OVERVIEW

A poster for students to travel to Poland to learn about the city of Warsaw offered by ACM 401, an arts culture and media course offered by Rutgers University - Newark. This poster was created in Indesign. ACM 401 is a class at Rutgers Newark that partnered with the Borderland foundation in Poland to provide students with with the opportunity to learn about Warsaw Poland by being integrated with the city and the arts. It was encouraged to push the design of the poster in an abstract direction. The main idea of the of the trip was to merge borders between people. The Borderland foundation wants to embrace everyday human contact without declared divisions. Interested in this concept, I used it to inspire the design. The flags of America, Poland, and Warsaw are abstracted, then merged together. This is a symbolic reference to the merging of people and places.
